The Seychelles Islands are often represented as the quintessential tropical island paradise. Left behind by India when the continental plates shifted, the Seychelles are made up of three main granite islands, offering excellent rock climbing, and dozens of breathtaking coral atolls.
Although they are a string of flourishing tropical islands, the pride of the Seychelles are their sparkling blue waters and exotic underwater world. Lounge on fine, white sand beaches listening to the waves gently lap at the shore. Windsurf or paraglide around deserted islets, lagoons and atolls. The Seychelles provide for both the tranquil and the adventurous vacation. Yet, there are two activities that no tourist should miss - their world class snorkelling and scuba diving.
